our controller must be an experienced problem solver that is responsible for the full scope of our accounting functions. The role includes external and internal reporting including budgeting and operational key performance indicators.

Our team is small, agile, and cross-trained and this role will also backfill accounting functions and reporting work within the finance team as required. This is a hands-on, roll-up the sleeves position that requires strong accounting and bookkeeping background.

The successful candidate will be directly accountable to:

  • Preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements; internal and external
  • Prepare and submit quarterly financial statements; internal and external
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Support month-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Assist in all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Journal Entries, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Degree in Accounting
  • Excellent QuickBooks Enterprise software and administration skills
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process


  • Bachelor’s degree
