Mine Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Operations General Foreman, the Mine Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of an underground mining crew and ensuring that safety and production targets are met or exceeded. The Mine Production Supervisor is expected to manage their assigned resources to achieve organizational targets in line with the mine schedule and in accordance with all relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management related role.
  • Significant experience in underground mine development and construction.
  • Underground Supervisory Common Core.
  • Strong management principles/strategies and skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both Written & Oral.
  • Good interpersonal, time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Personal commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and risk management.
