Structural Engineer

• Manage structural engineering projects from proposal through completion

• Prepare and manage project proposals, budgets, and schedules

• Coordinate with clients and internal team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget

• Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and site reviews complete with detailed technical reports

• Review engineering drawings, design briefs, and reports

• Develop structural designs for mainly residential and commercial projects  Mentor and support junior staff

• Attend client meetings both on-site and virtually

• Assist with business development and client relationship management

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario

• Minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience in Ontario

• Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Positive, collaborative, and client-focused attitude

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites

• Technical Requirements

The candidate must have knowledge and experience working with the following subjects and Canadian codes:

• Ontario Building Code

• Structural steel design (CSA S16)

• Reinforced concrete design (CSA A23.3)

• Wood design (CSA O86)

Candidates should also have working knowledge of:

• AutoCAD

• Revit

• Microsoft Office Suite

• Structural analysis software (SAP2000, STAAD, RISA, etc.)
