Construction Miner(s)- 1 week on/1 week off
Position: Construction Miner
Experience: Minimum 2 years underground construction experience
Location: 6 hours north of Sudbury Ontario working at a Gold Mine operation
Rotation: 1 week onsite, 1 week offsite
Camp Accomodations provided, Driving to site, $150/day LOA while on shift
Requirements - Must be able to pass a drug/alchol pre-employment screening and a clean criminal record result
Rate of Pay: $24/hour and $43/bonus
Requirements:
• Ontario Common Core Hardrock Mining
• Must hold all MTCU Construction Government Modules, including:
o U0085A – Install Services
o U0085B – Install Ground Support
o U0085C – Construct Bulkheads
o U0086 – Construct Vent Walls
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work 11.5-hour shifts
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of underground construction tasks, including:
o Shotcrete application (manual and remote with Encreter)
o Operate Aliva 252 pump
o Pour and finish concrete pads
o Build vent walls and bulkheads
o Install underground services and infrastructure
• Operate underground equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain clear and consistent radio communication while following site traffic plans
• Conduct pre-op inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures
