Construction Planner / Scheduler -Mining and Plants

Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension

Work Schedule: 4/3 on site (11 hr days) with travel from Timmins *maximum 13 hrs with travel, ability to work remotely biweekly

Job Description:

Collect and review contractor progress reports
Assist contractors with schedule development and maintenance
Track weekly/monthly progress and schedule deliverables
Combine contractor schedules for Master Schedule update
Participate in weekly progress meetings
Prepare 3-week look ahead objectives
Collaborate with Construction and Contractors to develop Rules of Credit documents
Ensuring reports are properly filed upon approval

Experience:

‍
Engineering/Construction background
Previous experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MSP etc.)
Very good with excel
Understanding of other Microsoft applications
Mill/Mining experience not required but a nice to have
