Contract Administrator

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary liaison between the client/owner, project managers, construction managers/general contractors, and consultants.
  • Review and interpretation of construction documents.
  • Perform general review during construction to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Preparation of contract administration documentation.
  • Manage changes, review and negotiate change order costs.
  • Respond to Contractor requests for information and administer responses in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Contract Administration and/or Construction Project Management position within the architecture or construction industry.
  • An educational background in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is an asset.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and other team members.
