Executive Assistant
About the Company
Our client in Sudbury, Ontario is searching for an Executive Assistant (EA) to work on-site, alongside the business owner in support of multiple businesses across multiple industries including industrial services, laser technology, inspection/consulting, and real estate/hospitality.
About the Role
The EA will manage the client's calendar, emails, priorities, and follow-ups; act as a gatekeeper for the business owner's time; coordinate meetings and logistics; assist with documents and contracts; and help ensure nothing falls through the cracks across several companies. The role also includes personal support (appointments, logistics, reminders) to help reduce overall workload. There is a strong long-term growth potential for the right person
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation will start on an hourly basis in the range of $22–$30 per hour, depending on experience and fit, with the intention of long-term growth. A company laptop and company cell phone (Apple products) will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, reports, and internal correspondence
- Filing important documents, such as reports, meeting notes, emails, and letters
- Keeping the owner’s calendar up-to-date, including adding events, rescheduling appointments and providing daily briefings
- Acting as the gatekeeper for internal and external contacts, including vendors, colleagues, clients, and customers
- Conducting research and creating reports on various topics based on the needs of the owner
- Keeping important information and documents organized physically, and electronically
- Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications
- English speaking (no additional language requirements)
- Valid G driver’s licence (or actively working toward one)
- Police background check required, as the role will eventually involve access to personal and business financial information
