The Opportunity:  

We are currently seeking underground Longhole Blasters / Assistants to join our Mining Client in Timmins, Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position working a rotational schedule of 14x14 and offering comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and loading holes with emulsion explosives
• Learn to operate emulsion loading equipment
• Loading holes with emulsion loaders and assisting blaster with timing.
• Blasting the face and perform orther duties as required
• Following company procedures, standards and specifications.

Required:

• Working knowledge and expeirence with Long Hole Blasting techniques
• Basic Underground Common Core
• License to operate MineCat- tractor
• Promotes safety and follows instructions
• Candidate must live in Timmins or willing to travel to work on rotation.
