The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Longhole Blasters to join our Mining Client in Timmins, Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position working a rotational schedule of 14x14 and offering comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

This individual will demonstrate the skills to prepare for long-hole blast following:

Cleaning and loading prints,
Selecting blasting agents,
Operating loading equipment,
Loading holes and determining firing sequence,
Blasting the face and perform other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor.
All tasks must be completed following company procedures, government regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

Must have a working knowledge and experience in Long Hole Blasting
Promotes safety and follows company procedures.
Ability to work safely and productively and to safely direct the activities of less skilled employees.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
the candidate must live in the Timmins area or be willing to travel and work rotation.
