Project/Field Engineer - Mechanical

• Participating in design reviews, including drawings, project instructions and specifications;

• Support project schedule development in alignment with the business requirements;  

• Provide technical support for field construction activities and construction supervisors

• Supporting mechanical infrastructure group activities such as planning, maintenance strategies, crews and contractors;

• Ensure that equipment data, spares requirements, and procedures and documentation are modified as necessary as a result of additions, deletions or modifications to the site infrastructure processes or configuration;

• Act as a technical resource for process plant improvement projects and others as required.

• Assists Senior Project Engineer/Lead with the execution of the capital projects portfolio;

• Collaborate with Senior Engineer to manage engineering firms to complete detailed engineering for projects

• Support project estimates development, preparation and submission of Application for Expenditures requests;

• Collaborate with the procurement group to execute scopes of work, tenders, technical bid evaluations and assist with general contracts management;

• Ensure adherence to all construction health, safety, security and environmental policies and comply with all applicable legal regulations;

Work Schedule:

The work schedule being offered is a 4 days onsite (Mon-Thurs) working 12 hour shifts and then 3 days off.  The project is in a remote mine camp and meals and accomodations will be provided along with transportation to and from the work site.
