Project Administrative Assistant- Project Controller
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Project Administrative Assistant to join our mining Client's team on site in Northern Ontario. This is a camp role, working a rotational schedule.
Reporting to the Expansion Project Controls Manager the Project Administrative Assistant will provide assistance with project control functions; including management of invoices and project registers.
· Receive all project invoices, complete initial checks, and coding, and manage workflow for approvals through submission to accounts payable for payment.
· Maintain project registers and project contacts list for all project invoices.
· Input requisitions for project expenditures.
· Review project commitments to ensure close out of open commitments in collaboration with Cost Control and Supply Chain.
· Manage receipt of material packing slips and matching to material invoices in collaboration with Logistics Coordinators.
· Develop and maintain project labour outlook for purposes of camp loading requirements.
· Create a group calendar for tracking of Team vacation and work offsite.
· Assist with onboarding of contractors when required.
· Management of office supplies and other tasks as required.
· Diploma in Business Administration
· 3-5 years administrative work experience.
· Strong clerical, administrative and general office skills including attention to detail and rigor.
· Mining or heavy industrial construction experience considered an asset.
· Experience using SAP
· Proficient use of Microsoft applications (mandatory)
· Excellent planning, leadership, organization and communication skills.
· Ability to communicate and interact within all levels of the organization.
· Ability and willingness to work different schedule on site based on project needs
