We are looking for a Project Controller to prepare and manage project baselines (scope, cost and schedule), monitor and report project performance and approved changes throughout.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager you will be:

• Perform cost analysis for the major capital project portfolio.

• Realize progress surveying on critical milestone activities.

• Accountable and responsible to prepare schedule WBS in line with project scope and project delivery guidelines, and validate with Project Directors

• Accountable and responsible to incorporate budgeted hours of each deliverable to project planning and Contractor / Vendor / Supplier schedule to project baseline schedule

• Accountable of project staffing plans, internal transfer reviews and manage the variability of resources within the portfolio

• Accountable to stay up to date with relevant cost related documents (e.g., scope document, project charter, project execution plan, cost estimate) and identify priorities for respective project portfolio

• Accountable for the enforcing CLIENT standard tools and practices in project scheduling and liaising with internal and external stakeholder

• Review, track, and incorporate (once approved) project cost status, trends and changes (e.g. design changes, contract & PO changes), making sure they are reflected in the project budget and project forecast.

• prepare / update project forecast and cost/cash flow in consultation with project team and portfolio management team as per CLIENT project forecast procedure

• Execute project close-out formalities as per CLIENT procedure and guidelines (internal and external) - opening and closing control accounts

• Accountable for the enforcing CLIENT standard tools and practices in cost controlling and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• 8 years experience in project controllership in mining industry

• Demonstrated analytical thinking with strong numerical ability, good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.)

• Experience with SAP

• Primereva 6 experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a combination of work and education.
