The Opportunity:  

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our Mining Client’s team in Northern Ontario. The individual will support the engagement of third party services. The role will be reporting to site for a 7/7 rotational schedule inNorthern, Ontario. Charter is provided from Sudbury, Timmins and Toronto areas. This role will begin on contract and could transition into a full-time permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:‍

·     Leading the legal and commercial oversight of all agreements, ensuring suppliers adhere to established terms.

·     Managing cost controls by auditing invoices, monitoring pricing and overseeing payments, milestones, holdbacks, and others.

·     Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance through regular reviews.

·     Change and claims management experience

·     Act as a key partner to production and internal departments

·     Recommending innovative approaches to enhance existing contract methodologies.

• Post-secondary education- related
• SCMP/CIPS certification
• Previous experience with Oracle ERP
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience supporting complex contract negotiations and administration
• Experience with computerized contracts systems
