Job Description – Labourers (2 Positions)
Location: Timmins, Ontario (Mine Site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week
Start Date: October 6, 2025, or October 13, 2025 pending equipment arrival
Duration: Up to 8 weeks
Position Overview
We are seeking two general labourers to support an on-site tagging project at 2 mine sites in Timmins. The role involves working primarily outdoors and attaching specialized identification tags (e.g., barcode/RFID tags) to physical assets across the sites. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
-Attach specialized asset tags (e.g., barcode) to inventory, materials, and other site assets.
-Follow provided instructions and procedures to ensure tags are installed correctly.
-Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting daily targets.
-Identify and report issues encountered during tagging (e.g., damaged surfaces, inaccessible assets).
-Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 15 kg
-Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
-Must be dependable and able to work independently.
-Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (good to have).
-Own pair of CSA-approved steel-toe boots (mandatory).
Additional PPE will be provided (e.g., hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses).

Compensation: $22 per hour
Site specific training will be required to be completed prior to start date (To Be Compensated)
Ability to pass pre-employment screening - Drug and alcohol test swab conducted
Norcat Online Training : WHMIS, general + mill site induction and 4 step health and safety awareness (can be provided if required)
Basic surface common core (4 modules) - Mandatory site requirement
Site induction at both site (will happen on site)
